About Aru Valley
Twelve kilometres from Pahalgam, Aru is a postcard village of log huts and emerald meadows beside the Lidder, ringed by snow peaks.
It is the base for treks to Lidderwat, Kolahoi Glacier and the Tarsar–Marsar lakes.
