Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Travel Group Kashmir website or booking any of our tour packages. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- “Company” refers to Travel Group Kashmir, registered in Jammu & Kashmir, India.
- “Client” refers to any person who books or enquires about our services.
- “Services” refers to tour packages, accommodation, transport, and related travel services.
- “Booking” refers to any confirmed reservation of our services.
2. Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and issuance of a written confirmation from us. Verbal agreements or provisional hold requests do not constitute a confirmed booking.
The lead passenger must be at least 18 years of age and accepts these terms on behalf of all members of the travel party.
3. Pricing
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, the price is guaranteed except in cases of significant currency fluctuation, government-imposed taxes, or fuel surcharges beyond our control.
Prices include only those services explicitly listed in the itinerary. Personal expenses, travel insurance, visa fees, and tips are not included unless specified.
4. Payment Terms
- A deposit of 25–30% of the total package cost is required to confirm a booking.
- The remaining balance is due 30 days before the departure date.
- For bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required immediately.
- We accept UPI, bank transfer, debit/credit card, and other payment methods listed at checkout.
5. Changes by the Client
Requests to change a confirmed booking (dates, accommodation, itinerary) must be submitted in writing. We will endeavour to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability. Amendment fees may apply.
6. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellations must be notified in writing. Refunds are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Changes or Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to modify or cancel a tour in cases of force majeure, natural disaster, civil unrest, government travel advisories, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, we will offer an alternative itinerary or a full refund of monies paid to us.
8. Travel Documents and Visas
It is the client’s sole responsibility to obtain valid travel documents, visas, and permits. We provide guidance on permit requirements (such as Inner Line Permits for restricted areas in Ladakh) but accept no liability for refusals or delays caused by missing documentation.
9. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of belongings before travel. We are not liable for losses that would have been covered by travel insurance.
10. Liability
Our liability is limited to the total cost of the services booked through us. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses. We act as agents for third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, transport operators) and are not liable for their acts or omissions.
11. Health and Fitness
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake their chosen itinerary. Kashmir and Ladakh include high-altitude destinations where altitude sickness is a risk. We recommend consulting a physician before travel.
12. Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to behave respectfully towards local communities, cultures, and the natural environment. We reserve the right to remove from the tour any person whose behaviour is disruptive or poses a risk to others, without refund.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, videos, logos, and design — is the property of Travel Group Kashmir and may not be reproduced without written permission.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
