About Leh Ladakh
Ladakh, the third region of the UT, is a high-altitude desert locked between the Himalaya, Ladakh and Karakoram ranges — a land like no other, with altitudes from 9,000 ft at Kargil to over 25,000 ft in the Karakoram.
Crossed by Khardung La (the world's highest motorable pass), it is home to the sand dunes of Nubra Valley, the colour-shifting Pangong Lake, and ancient Buddhist monasteries at Hemis, Thiksey and Diskit.

Getting There
Leh has its own airport (IXL) with flights from Delhi and Srinagar. Acclimatize for a day on arrival before heading to higher passes.
Local Tips
Drink plenty of water and rest on day one to avoid altitude sickness. Inner Line Permits are required for Nubra and Pangong — we arrange these for you.
